Hello all my lovelies!

There was a storm and a bit of calm, at least that’s how it has felt as of late.

After my Four Horsemen were complete, I moved onto my Tentacle painting for the Ltd. Art Gallery show coming up May 4th.

“Last Caress” – oil on masonite – 12 x 14 inches by Christina Lank

I quite enjoyed painting this piece, it was good fun. I had never had it in mind to paint an octopus before but I am sure glad I was invited to participate so I could break out of my comfort zone and do something new! Though the original has already been sold pre show, I do have prints available from my Etsy shop!

I have an original up for sale which I started months ago. The theme was a woman with large voluminous hair with flowers and wings in it, something I have always really loved and played alot more with in early 2012. So I was happy to do it again and finally finish her up! She is a sweet 9 x 16 inches and I have a feeling will look really wonderful all framed on someones wall ^^

I have also had the great honor of being chosen to be in Gallery 1988’s October Show “Say Hello to the Bad Guy” – all about the, well –Β  The Bad Guys in Cult Films!! I have picked out my character and it is a bit hush hush right now πŸ˜› I will probably start working on it late in the summer but I already have a huge folder full of inspiration – it’s going to be awesome πŸ˜€

Gallery 1988 is located in L.A. so if you live in the area be sure to check them out! They host a whole crew of amazing artists!

That’s all from me at the moment – I am still chugging along on my massive commission board and will soon begin my Fiction piece for Modern Eden’s upcoming show!! More on that soon I promise πŸ™‚
